 2017 Board of Directors

President - Chris Fox

I have been a member of Freestate Corvette Club since 2013, when my wife Mary found our first Corvette, a much loved white C4. We have since moved into a Millennium Yellow C5 convertible that we both love. Mary and I have made many good friends since joining the club and look forward to making many more. From St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Ocean City to our biggest celebration, Corvette Weekend, I look forward to many exciting trips with the club in the coming year. As outgoing VP of our
club I’m honored to be serving as President for the new year of 2017.

Vice President - Bob "Rock" Rockenstire

Rock has been a member of the Free State Corvette Club since 2007. Rock has served as the Sergeant of Arms, has been the MC for Corvette Weekend in Ocean City and has worked several other events through the years.

Owning a Corvette has always been a dream come true.  Getting to enjoy the Corvette hobby with others in the club has been a real blast.  The club always comes together to support one another and achieve whatever the goal.

Rock and his wife Marty have always enjoyed the friendship and fun that the Free State Club has offered.  We’ve had a lot of fun on the many excursions the club has organized and we’re looking forward to many more to come.

Membership - Sharon Harbarger

Sharon has been a member of FSCC since January of 2015. She and her husband, Kevin, bought a 2003 C5 in 2014 and just traded in for a 2008 Z06, yellow of course so they can keep their membership in the "Yellow Jacket Club".

What Sharon loves the most about FSCC is the generosity to those in need.

Treasurer - Norman Elkins

Norman has been a member of Free State Corvette Club since 1999 when he purchased his Ruby convertible. He is proud to say he has only missed one Ocean City weekend since 1999.

Norman has worked with apparel, teching, car shows and parade staging over the years. He enjoys seeing how the club comes together to pull off such a great event year after year.

Governor - Jeff Weiner

Jeff has been Governor for the past eight years and enjoys the position and likes to think he has made a difference in the running of our club. Jeff says to serve as the club Governor is the least he can do to give back to our great group.

His wife Elaine who he can still call his bride of two years, really enjoys their passion for America’s favorite sports car and all of you who make this club the best of the best.

Activities - Barb Faulkner

Barbara has been a member since 2008. After purchasing their 2001 Magnetic Red Convertible and attending Jeff  & Tafi Grant's wedding, she and Keith were seated with the group of Free State Corvette members. "They were so kind and gave us more than enough information to want to join the club. We like it so much we fell into the C7 epidemic and purchased "BLIZZRD", our 2014 Z51 triple black convertible."

Barbara has been Activities Director for the past two years and is going to do it again. "We love our Spina Bifida charity event in Ocean City and hope to continue working to keep it going. We have developed a whole new family of friends and enjoy activities with all of them."

Secretary - Cathy Pass Dunaway

In late 2011, I met Wayne Dunaway (member since 2002) by “chance” while attending a crab feast with my former neighbor/FSCC club member and around 20 plus members of the FSCC.  That “chance meeting” changed my life in many amazing ways!

I joined FSCC in 2012 and married my true love, a 2006 Monetary Red Convertible, tan top… opps (my favorite color is actually Goodwood Green) I meant to say, and I married my true love Wayne, in 2016.  We really enjoy meeting, spending time with, and travelling with so many club members who, I am glad to say, have also become our good friends.

What we love about being members of the club is jumping in the vette and taking off on day rides (to Skyline Drive, Gettysburg, Sunset Hills Winery….) or riding in parades (Christmas Lights, Memorial Day-driving our Veteran’s, July 4th …..), the extended trips (Cape May-one of my favs, Myrtle Beach, Canada, Watkins Glen, Syracuse…..) & the great “Mystery Cruises” (Shanksville, Wellsboro, Wisp….)? We also love being part of OC Corvette Weekend! It is amazing what the members of this club do to raise money for our charities such as the Spina Bifida Foundation, Gilchrist Hospice Care and more.   Wayne and I truly love the “spirit” of the FSCC!

Looking forward to a “well-traveled” and truly fun 2017 and hope you will join us!  Time to upgrade (the corvette, not the husband!)

Sergeant at Arms - Chuck Sanders

I have been a member of the Free State Corvette Club since 2010. I am honored to be the Sergeant at Arms for the 2016 year.

I look forward to helping the board members and the other club members during the year. I enjoy long drives on winding roads and a full tank of gas.

Wheels up... it's 2016! Here we come!

Past President - Wyatt Greenwalt

Wyatt and his wife, Paulette have been members of the Free State Corvette Club since 2003. Wyatt has served as Activities Director, past president for three years and Ocean City Chairperson for six years.

Buying his first Corvette in 2003 turned out to be quite a journey, culminating in a long relationship with what he perceives as the best club I have ever imagined.
"I continue to marvel as to what we have accomplished in the past and look forward to actively keeping up to that standard. "
